Our supporters make our trips possible.

Where will your funds go?

Each quilt kit costs approximately $20 to create and send to a volunteer.

Medical supply costs vary from year to year depending on the medical needs of the area, but all of our medical supplies are donated or purchased through donated funds.

Because dental hygiene is lacking in many parts of the world, we also bring toothbrushes and toothpaste.

We feel that it is important to have each participant financially contribute for his/her participation in the trip. However, as medical students, we also try to lower the cost of the trip for those involved in Patches of Love to make it feasible for all participants.

We also support a physician to accompany us on our trips.

Lastly, we try to purchase some fun supplies such as crayons, stickers, or athletic equipment.
